The following Terms of Use, Policies & Student Information apply to students enrolled in programs offered by The Confident Caregivers Institute, including the Certified Master Caregiver (CMC) and Certified Caregiver Coach Practitioner (CCCP) programs.

By purchasing, accessing, or participating in one of our courses, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the policies outlined below

 

Educational Purpose

Courses and resources provided by The Confident Caregivers Institute are intended for educational and professional-development purposes.

Our programs are designed to increase knowledge, develop practical skills, and support professional growth within caregiving and caregiver-support roles.

Course materials are not intended to replace:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Legal or financial advice
  • Employer-specific training
  • State-mandated training or licensing requirements
  • Clinical education required for licensed healthcare practice
  • Emergency medical services or professional intervention

Students are responsible for working within their individual training, qualifications, professional scope, applicable laws, employer policies, and organizational requirements.

 

Professional Certification

Students who successfully complete all requirements of their selected certification program may earn the applicable designation:

Certified Master Caregiver (CMC)

or

Certified Caregiver Coach Practitioner (CCCP)

Certification demonstrates successful completion of the educational and certification requirements established by The Confident Caregivers Institute.

Certification does not represent or replace a state-issued professional license, healthcare license, government credential, or authorization to perform services that otherwise require professional licensure.

Students are responsible for determining whether additional education, licensing, registration, background screening, or other requirements apply to their intended employment or professional activities.

 

Certification Requirements

To earn certification, students must successfully complete the requirements established for their specific program.

Requirements may include:

  • Completion of required course modules
  • Completion of required lessons or activities
  • Completion of quizzes or assessments
  • Successful completion of the final examination
  • Meeting the required passing score
  • Completion of any required assignments or exercises
  • Compliance with academic integrity standards
  • Payment of all applicable course fees

Certification will be issued only after all applicable program requirements have been successfully completed.

 

Online & Self-Paced Learning

Our certification programs are delivered online and are designed to provide students with flexibility.

Students may generally:

  • Study from a computer, tablet, or compatible mobile device
  • Work through lessons at their own pace
  • Complete coursework around personal and professional responsibilities
  • Access included educational resources electronically

Students are responsible for maintaining appropriate internet access, compatible technology, and the ability to view and complete course materials.

Technical requirements may change as technology and course platforms evolve.

  1. Course Access

Course access is provided to the individual student who purchased or was officially registered for the program.

Where a course is advertised as including lifetime access, lifetime access means continued access for as long as the applicable course and learning platform remain available and supported by The Confident Caregivers Institute.

Lifetime access does not guarantee that a particular platform, lesson, downloadable resource, feature, or version of a course will remain unchanged indefinitely.

Courses may be updated, reorganized, revised, replaced, or migrated to another learning platform when necessary.

 

Student Accounts

Student accounts are intended for individual use.

Students may not:

  • Share usernames or passwords
  • Allow another individual to complete coursework under their account
  • Share paid course access with another person
  • Permit another individual to complete examinations or assessments on their behalf
  • Create unauthorized copies of course materials for others

Students are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.

Suspected unauthorized access should be reported to The Confident Caregivers Institute.

 

Academic Integrity

Professional certification should represent the knowledge and work of the person receiving the credential.

Students are expected to complete their own coursework, quizzes, assignments, and certification examinations.

Academic misconduct may include:

  • Having another person complete coursework or assessments
  • Providing answers to examinations or assessments to another student
  • Obtaining unauthorized examination materials
  • Falsifying completion records
  • Misrepresenting identity
  • Altering or falsifying certificates
  • Plagiarizing required original work

The Confident Caregivers Institute reserves the right to investigate suspected academic misconduct and, when appropriate, withhold or revoke certification.

 

Course Materials & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, course content and educational materials provided by The Confident Caregivers Institute are protected intellectual property.

This may include:

  • Course lessons
  • Videos and presentations
  • Manuals and workbooks
  • Graphics and illustrations
  • Assessments and examinations
  • Downloadable guides
  • Forms
  • Worksheets
  • Checklists
  • Cheat sheets
  • Coaching tools
  • Templates
  • Proprietary educational methods and materials
  • Branding and certification materials

Purchasing a course provides the student with a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the materials for their own education and authorized professional use.

Students may not reproduce, resell, republish, distribute, upload, share, teach from, license, or commercially redistribute course materials without written authorization from The Confident Caregivers Institute.

 

Use of Downloadable Resources

Certain courses may include forms, checklists, worksheets, guides, reference materials, or other downloadable tools.

Unless otherwise specified, enrolled students may print and use these materials for their own educational or professional purposes.

Students may not:

  • Sell the materials
  • Upload them to another website or learning platform
  • Distribute them as their own products
  • Remove copyright or ownership information
  • Include them in another course or training program
  • Share an entire resource library with non-enrolled individuals
  • Reproduce or distribute materials commercially without authorization

Additional permissions may be provided for specific resources when clearly stated.

 

Scope of Practice

Students and graduates are responsible for understanding and remaining within the scope of their education, professional role, credentials, and applicable laws.

Completion of a course does not authorize a student to:

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Prescribe or recommend prescription medications
  • Provide medical treatment requiring professional licensure
  • Represent themselves as a licensed healthcare professional unless independently licensed
  • Provide psychotherapy or licensed mental-health treatment without appropriate credentials
  • Provide legal, financial, or other regulated professional services without appropriate qualifications

When a client’s needs exceed the student’s or graduate’s role, appropriate referral to a qualified professional should be considered.

 

Certified Caregiver Coach Practitioner Scope

The Certified Caregiver Coach Practitioner program prepares students to provide education, guidance, encouragement, practical strategies, goal support, and caregiver-focused coaching.

Caregiver coaching is not a substitute for licensed medical, mental-health, legal, or financial services.

Certified Caregiver Coach Practitioners should clearly communicate the nature and limits of their services and refer clients to appropriately qualified professionals when needs fall outside their role or expertise.

 

Certified Master Caregiver Scope

The Certified Master Caregiver program provides education in caregiving knowledge and practical caregiving skills.

The certification does not independently authorize the performance of regulated medical or nursing procedures.

Graduates are responsible for following applicable laws, employer policies, care plans, delegated responsibilities, and professional instructions when providing care.

 

Student Conduct

Students are expected to interact professionally and respectfully with instructors, staff, other students, and members of any associated learning community.

Harassment, threats, discrimination, abusive behavior, deliberate disruption, fraudulent activity, or misuse of Institute services may result in restricted access or removal from a program when appropriate.

 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to the digital nature of our certification programs and the immediate availability of course content, educational materials, and downloadable resources, all course purchases are final once the course has been accessed.

Once a student purchases a course and accesses the online course platform or any portion of the course materials, no refunds will be issued.

We encourage all prospective students to carefully review the course description, curriculum, certification information, requirements, and FAQs before enrolling. By purchasing and accessing a course, the student acknowledges and agrees to this No Refund After Course Access Policy.

 

Pricing & Payment

Course prices are displayed at the time of enrollment and may change without notice.

Any promotional pricing, discounts, payment plans, scholarships, or special offers are subject to

Certification or continued course access may be withheld or restricted when required payments remain outstanding, subject to applicable law and the terms of the student’s purchase agreement.

 

Certification Renewal & Recertification

Some certifications may require periodic renewal or continuing education to maintain active certification status. Certifications are valid for 2 years.

When renewal requirements apply, students are responsible for completing the applicable recertification requirements by the established deadline.

Renewal requirements, fees, continuing education expectations, and certification periods may be updated periodically to maintain appropriate educational and professional standards.

Current certification holders should refer to the Institute’s published recertification information for applicable requirements.

 

Changes to Course Content

Caregiving practices, professional standards, technology, and educational needs evolve.

The Confident Caregivers Institute may periodically update:

  • Assessments
  • Educational resources
  • Forms and worksheets
  • Certification requirements
  • Technology or delivery methods

Updates may be made to improve accuracy, relevance, educational quality, or student experience.

 

No Guarantee of Employment or Income

Completion of a certification program does not guarantee employment, promotion, business success, clients, increased income, or any particular professional outcome.

Individual results depend on many factors, including experience, location, employment requirements, business practices, market conditions, additional credentials, and individual effort.

The Confident Caregivers Institute provides education and professional-development resources but does not guarantee specific career or financial results.

 

Employer & Regulatory Requirements

Caregiver employment and training requirements vary by state, employer, agency, facility, and professional role.

Students are responsible for confirming whether a particular employer, state, licensing authority, insurance provider, or organization recognizes a certification or requires additional training or credentials.

Enrollment should not be interpreted as assurance that a certification satisfies a specific state or employer requirement.

 

Educational & Medical Disclaimer

Information provided in our courses, website, downloads, and educational resources is intended for general educational purposes.

Certificate & Credential Use

Graduates may not alter certificates, misrepresent certification status, imply possession of credentials they have not earned, or represent Institute certification as a government-issued or state professional license.

The Institute’s logos, seals, trademarks, and other brand assets may only be used according to applicable brand-use policies or written permission.

 

Revocation of Certification

The Confident Caregivers Institute reserves the right to review and, when justified, suspend or revoke a certification obtained through fraud, material misrepresentation, falsified coursework, examination misconduct, unauthorized alteration of credentials, or serious misuse of Institute certification.

Whenever reasonably appropriate, the individual will be given an opportunity to respond to the concern before a final determination is made.

 

Website Terms of Use

Visitors and students agree to use our website and learning resources lawfully and responsibly.

Users may not attempt to:
